THESE cups runneth over! Supermodel Kate Moss has celebrated her 25 years in the fashion industry by launching a champagne glass moulded from — wait for it — her left breast.
WELL, this is hilarious.
Supermodel Kate Moss has celebrated her 25 years in the fashion industry by launching a champagne glass moulded from — wait for it — her left breast.
Moss launched the glasses at an intimate party at a posh London restaurant on Wednesday, with a guest list that included Rita Ora and Sadie Frost, The New York Post reports.
Moss was first fitted for the coupe (a shallow, bowl-like stemmed glass, as opposed to the standard flute) in August.
“British artist Jane McAdam Freud designed the glasses, which were inspired by Marie Antoinette — legend has it that the first Champagne coupe in the 18th century was modelled from the royal’s left bosom,” The Post reports.
“I was excited to participate in this project, what an honour to be alongside Marie Antoinette — she was a very intriguing and mischievous character,” Moss told Vogue UK. “Champagne is always associated with celebration and happy occasions, and I had fun creating this beautiful coupe.”
If you want to cop a feel of Mossy, you can order a glass of champagne at one of four up-market London restaurants — 34, The Ivy, Daphne’s and Scott’s.
