The former beauty queen turned businesswoman looked every bit the dazzling movie star on the red carpet in Venice.
Jesinta Franklin has reminded everyone why she came so close to snatching the Miss Universe crown in 2010.
The former beauty queen turned businesswoman looked every bit the dazzling movie star when she hit the red carpet at the 80th Venice International Film Festival on Thursday evening.
The 32-year-old mother of two stunned in a strapless black velvet Armani dress with satin detailing at the bust.
She paired the gown with peep-toe heels and a matching clutch, and was adorned with Bulgari jewels – including a Serpenti necklace and matching earrings and ring.
Franklin’s look was straight from the playbook of old-Hollywood glamour, with her stylists opting for a timeless hair and makeup combination for the event.
Her dark brunette tresses were styled in loose, voluminous curls – with lighter extensions blended throughout – and her makeup a natural eye and bold red lip combination, with matching red nails to polish off the ensemble.
Franklin was attending the red carpet for the film Ferrari by renowned director Michael Man.
The film examines three tumultuous months in the life of Enzo Ferrari, the founder of the eponymous car brand, as he faces money trouble, grieves the death of his son, and has a child with his mistress – which is discovered by his wife.
The Aussie model has been in Italy for Armani Beauty, where she has been dialling up the glamour all week.
On Tuesday, she stepped out in a matching black floral halter top and skirt set by Scanlan Theodore, paired with a bright red lip and Bulgari jewels, once again – this time a diamond necklace and earrings.
Her red carpet appearance come days after she joined her husband, retiring AFL player Buddy Franklin, for a lap of honour at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday afternoon.
Franklin gushed over her AFL legend husband after his glittering career was brought to an immediate end by a calf injury, writing on social media it was “the end of an era”.
The pair met in 2012 and quickly became one of the most high-profile power couples in Australian sport.
They married in a lavish ceremony in 2016 and have welcomed two children, Tullulah, born in 2020, and Rocky, born in 2021.
