When it comes to influencers, most of us are used to only seeing picture-perfect images of them on Instagram.

But former Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield has been praised for including one very “real” detail in a stunning photo of her enjoying a bikini yacht party on Sydney Harbour.

Abbie was among a host of models and influencers to attend Monday Swimwear’s Yacht Day.

Monday Swimwear was founded by Australian influencer Tash Oakley and her best friend Devin Brugman, and has since attracted a cult following worldwide.

In a post on Instagram Abbie shared two photos of her wearing a bikini from Monday Swimwear complete with gold jewellery.

Abbie’s followers were quick to saw how good she looked in the photo, but it was a “real” detail she raised in the caption that got the most praise.

“Category is: Shaving rash,” she wrote, also adding in the comments section: “PSA: the new trend is shaving rash!!”

“Finally I’m on trend with something,” one person joked in response.

“It’s nice to see some normality in a photo,” another commented.

“Normalise the rash,” one follower wrote.

“The shaving rash is so iconic hun GET. IT,” one person commented.

Also at the event was model Jessica Vander Leahy, who posted on the yacht’s deck alongside brand founder Tash.

Tash and Devin started Monday Swimwear in 2014 off the back of their popular blog A Bikini A Day which saw them — you guessed it — wear and photograph themselves wearing a different swimsuit every day.

“When we started, we were a unique platform for swimwear brands to promote themselves – no one was doing what we were doing. The very premise of A Bikini A Day allowed us to give a voice to a different bikini brand, 365 days of the year,” Tash told Forbes in 2016.

Devin and Tash told Glamour that Monday Swimwear was about body positivity. Their swimsuits go up to a G-cup and US size 18.

“We just wanted to create quality suits that were comfortable, supportive, and flattering on the female form,” they said.
