How Tahnee Atkinson became Australia's new “It” girl
FROM reality TV show Australia’s Next Top Model, to hanging in Milan with fellow model Jordan Barrett. Is Tahnee Atkinson our new “It” girl?
COULD Tahnee Atkinson be Sydney’s next "It" girl?
The plus-sized model and winner of Australia’s Next Top Model in 2009, Atkinson’s career has been largely confined to the domestic sphere with a local campaign for Bras N Things among the highlights.
But on the social scene, Atkinson’s star has been on the rise of late, with the model attending the Dolce and Gabbana show at Milan’s Men’s Fashion Week with fellow Aussie catwalker and It boy Jordan Barett.
As well as attending the show together in what Barett called “23 hours in Italy” on his Instagram, the two were pictured out and about in the Italian city together, laughing and hugging affectionately.
The Sydneysider attended the show in a low-cut, sheer black dress from the label, covering it with a floral top.
Atkinson also celebrated Victoria’s Secret model and friend Georgia Fowler’s birthday at a girls’ dinner with fellow Sydney model Montana Cox.
