Holly Valance attends Rebecca Vallance launch into Harrods
The rarely-seen Australian star, now married to a billionaire, has been spotted during a rare public appearance in London.
Holly Valance has been spotted during a rare public appearance to celebrate the launch of an iconic Australian brand into Harrods.
The former Neighbours star was photographed at an exclusive event hosted by fashion designer Rebecca Vallance to celebrate her namesake label’s arrival into the luxury British department store.
The 40-year-old, who lives in London with her British billionaire husband Nick Candy, has shied away from the limelight in recent years.
While she has social media, fans of the former pop star are unable to see anything she shares to her private Instagram account, and she only occasionally posts on Twitter.
However, she donned the Australian designer’s $849 “Veronica Mini Dress”, a black puff sleeve number dotted with pearl beads, on Tuesday to celebrate the special occasion.
In a series of images, Holly – who now goes by her married name of Holly Candy – can be seen posing in the cult dress, which features three bows adorned across a cut-out bodice.
The mum-of-two, who tied the knot with her property developer husband in 2012, wore her blonde hair in her signature straight style, and accessorised with a luxury silver watch and several diamond rings.
Holly wasn’t the only familiar face at the intimate party, with Zara Tindall – granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II – also in attendance.
Tindall opted for an elegant Rebecca Vallance dress for the occasion, wearing the brand’s “Eva Midi Dress” which retails for $899.
The black gown features a daring cut-out across the back, flaunting the wearer’s midriff, and is finished with a pearl-trim that runs across the back and neckline.
Tindall accessorised with black pointed heels and beaded earrings, her blonde hair tied back in a slick bun.
Other guests in attendance included Hanan Ibrahim, British socialite Lady Victoria Hervey and model Amber Le Bon.
Vallance, who launched her brand in London in 2011, explained that Covid had seen her products pulled from Harrods’ shelves. The designer said it was a delight to be able to return three years later.
“It’s a full-circle moment to be rekindling our relationship with Harrods,” she said.
“After a temporary pause during the challenges of Covid, we are thrilled to be back, unveiling our new Holiday collection, perfect for the British and international customer who loves to dress for any occasion.
“This collection is designed to resonate with the Harrods’ shopper who values quality, sophistication, and versatility in their wardrobe.”
It comes after Matt Damon’s wife Luciana was spotted rocking a custom Rebecca Vallance design at Derby Day last week, prompting the brand to announce it would be released for customers next year.
“It’s such an honour to dress Hollywood royalty like Luciana and have her wearing one of our designs,” Vallance told news.com.au at the time.
“We worked closely with stylist Suzy Eskander to create this custom look, embellished with hand-beaded pearls and boned corsetry.”
The mum-of-four wore the $1100 dress inside the LANDMARK by Lexus marquee where she was seen dancing alongside her actor husband in a touching photo.
