Glamour on the Grid: Bec Judd’s risque look wows F1 red carpet ahead of Melbourne Grand Prix
The stars were out on show for the annual Glamour on the Grid cocktail party ahead of this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix.
Rebecca Judd and Olivia Molly Rogers stunned at the annual Glamour on the Grid soiree in Melbourne on Wednesday night.
The cocktail party marked the start of proceedings for the Australian Grand Prix, which takes place this weekend.
Before the F1 cars hit the track, the stars hit the red carpet.
On the Albert Park runway, Bec Judd’s risqué look was from Melbourne fashion house J’Aton Couture.
Popping in vibrant pink, Judd wore a crop top and skirt with a racy thigh-high split. She paired the piece with skyscraper stilettos by Lana Wilkinson and a silver clutch.
Fans were quick to praise Judd’s racy outfit, labelling it “insane” and “sexy” – as some pointed out Melbourne’s weather was “freezing”.
“Hope you have a coat, it’s freezing outside,” one said.
Olivia Rogers’ ‘revenge’ dress
If Judd was bright with colour, Olive Molly Rogers sparkled in more muted tones.
The Miss Universe Australia winner wore a daring number featuring an encrusted bustier and a sheer dress detailed with a delicate lace pattern.
“Your revenge photos just keep getting better and better,” said a follower on Instagram.
Molly Rogers recently spilt with husband Justin McKeone.
Fellow Miss Universe Australia winner Maria Thattil also shone. Like Judd she wore J’Aton Couture in an all over hot red asymmetric gown.
Mia Fevola opted for timeless elegance with a silky white slip dress perfectly matching the Glamour on the Grid’s decor.
The Block’s Shaynna Blaze also strutted her stuff, matching a midnight black pant with an all-enveloping swirl of cream.
It wasn’t just the women. While some of the men kept it safe but stylish with a well fitted back suit – careful not to take the focused from their companions – Geelong legend Sam Newman went for a casual look that wouldn’t look out of place at a Silicon Valley board meeting.
He donned blue jeans, a black blazer and statement T-shirt with checkered sneakers.
Margot Robbie’s younger brother Cameron paraded with a nautical -style look, delivering lazy days at Oxford University vibes, with a blue pinstriped blazer atop a navy tie and white shirt ensemble and white pants.
The cocktails will give way to the cars soon enough as Melbourne gears up for the Grand Prix.
Not only will the likes of Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton be gracing the city with their presence, but so too will the stars of the Supercars competition.
Home favourite Daniel Ricciardo will watch this year’s race form the side having joined Red Bull as a reserve driver for 2023.
The Aussie interest will divert to Oscar Piastri in his rookie season with McLaren.
The big race starts at 3pm on Sunday.
