First Lady Melania Trump stuns in daring Gucci dress on tour of China

FIRST Lady Melania Trump seems to be taking cues from Margot Robbie, wearing the same Gucci dress as the Aussie star.

FIRST Lady Melania Trump has turned heads in Beijing, wearing a Chinese-inspired floor-length Gucci gown.

She wore it to attend a state dinner with her husband President Donald Trump, hosted by President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan in Beijing.

But it’s not the first time the stunning Gucci frock has been worn on a red carpet. Aussie actor Margot Robbie sported the outfit from the Italian designer’s fall 2016 collection to the Hollywood premiere of The Legend of Tarzan in June last year.

There are some styling similarities, too: FLOTUS and Robbie both sported sleek side-parted blowouts, soft nude manicures and a single ring on their left hands, New York Post reports.

Melania also chose to pair it with satin pink pumps to play off the dress’ stitching and fluffy arm accents, while Robbie sported sky-high Gucci platforms.

It’s also not the first time Melania — who was recently accused of using a body double at public appearances — has worn Gucci.

She sported a blue Gucci coat to Trump’s inauguration, while Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway has also worn the brand, Vanity Fair reports.

“We have all kinds of customers,” Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele told vanityfair.com.

“Everybody is free to do what they want.”

The lavish dinner in Beijing was part of the Trumps’ 12-day tour of Asia.
