Her husband may have won the prestigious Brownlow Medal last night, but it was Julie Neal who stole the show in a booty-flashing gold gown.

The Brisbane WAG, who is married to veteran midfielder Lachie Neale, stunned on the red carpet at the Gabba – a separate celebration from the main event at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne – wearing a sensational beaded dress from Australian designer Chosen by Kyha.

Jules, who gave birth to the couples first child in September 2021, was flooded with compliments over the risque ensemble which featured a daring cut out on the left side of her hip.

“This outfit is stunning,” one fan wrote on Instagram Monday.

“F**king flawless,” another gushed.

As one wrote: “You look amazing.”

The dress, which is from Chosen by Kyha’s upcoming “Sunset Boulevard” collection, comprised of a shimmery bodysuit with a skirt draped A-symmetrically across Julie’s hip, flashing the flesh – and her booty – on one side.

“JULES. Daring to bare,” Kyha wrote on Instagram, describing the soon-to-be released dress.

“This entire look is phenomenal,” one follower stated.

“OMG I LOVE,” another agreed.

Jules finished her chic Brownlows look with a sleek up do and minimal jewellery. On her feet were a pair of stylish clear heels adorned with sparkly studs from Lana Wilkinson.

She wasn’t the only partner on the night to show their support for their footy player other halves with a daring cut out.

Bel Sloane, wife of former Crows captain’ Rory Sloane, opted for an orange gown from Cappellazzo Couture which featured two sexy cut outs while Arlette Jones, girlfriend of Collingwood star Nick Daicos, opted for an eye-catching pink number which flaunted the flesh.

Alex Pendlebury, the wife of Collingwood star Scott Pendlebury, went for a sheer beaded design from Oglia-Loro, which hugged her figure.

Meanwhile Annalise Dalins, the girlfriend of another Collingwood player Josh Daicos, wore a structured nude dress with pale blue lace over the top.

Josh wore a velvet suit jacket from Hugo Boss.

Paris Lawrence, partner of Richmond star Daniel Rioli, turned heads in a revealing corset dress.

The pale blue satin design, made by Corston Couture, included glittering embellishments and sheer panels as well as a racy thigh split.

“Brownlow 23 with my baby,” she captioned a series of snaps from the event on Instagram.

Fans were quick to label Paris’ look “stunning” and state they were “obsessed”.

“I’m speechless,” one remarked, as another simply wrote: “You look insane.”

You are perfect. Daniel you lucky man,” someone else mused.

“Love this dress,” one added.

Donny collaborated with the Swans and Origin Energy to create a sustainable look using am repurposed wedding gown by Amanda Tasevski.

“We loved it so much that we asked if it could be worn to tonight’s event. It’s so important to try re-wear, reuse, and repurpose as much as we can,” Donny wrote on Instagram.

“I found the gold clutch in a vintage store, she is re-wearing her gold heels from last year’s Brownlow awards and the @jackiemackdesigns earrings are also a re-wear. Choosing preloved clothing over new is just one way we can all help contribute to a cleaner future.”

Nathan Buckley, a Collingwood legend, and girlfriend Brodie Ryan also played high in the fashion stakes at the annual event.

Brodie chose a plunging green metallic dress with a hip high split which she paired with silver jewels and black sandal heels.

There have been some iconic looks from the Brownlows over the years, including a Melbourne WAG who was “harshly criticised for years” after wearing a G-string dress to the Brownlows in 2001.

Tania Buckley was married to former head coach of the Collingwood Football Club Nathan Buckley for 18 years before their split in 2020.

But during one of their earliest public appearances together, Buckley’s then-girlfriend Tania

Minnici caused a stir after wearing a pale pink dress with a built-in jewel encrusted G-string that flashed a cheeky amount of bottom.

Almost 20 years later she addressed the backlash to the outfit, stating “I wouldn’t wish it on anybody.”
