The WAG turned businesswoman has unveiled the results of her latest project – declaring it might just be her “new favourite thing to do”.

She might have taken a step back from the spotlight this year, but Bec Judd has definitely been keeping busy.

The businesswoman and influencer has been flexing her interior design skills, revealing the transformation of her Mount Buller holiday home.

In a series of Instagram posts, Bec said: “I’ve found my new favourite thing to do.”

She captioned the post: “The first time I’ve been able to say, ‘Interior design by me.’”

“Thanks to everyone involved in the Mount Buller project. Our builder @hennessyconstructions banged this one out in 10 weeks. Max, you are a weapon.”

The before and after photos showed how she had transformed the holiday home from a dated ’90s style to a chic modern space with faux fur, dusky pink tones and marble kitchen features.

In the lounge, Bec replaced the fireplace with a sleek new one, added a feature wall with bookshelves and used marble highlights.

The makeover featured pieces from Zuster furniture, with the two cloud faux fur pink armchairs costing upwards of $5300 each.

Fans praised the mother-of-four’s interior design, with good pal Nadia Bartel commenting: “Interiors are definitely your thang! Always been amazing and love this.”

“You smashed it, this is sensational. Best ski lodge I’ve ever seen,” another person wrote.

“Now that’s a glow-up,” one commented.

“Wow what a transformation. It looks great,” another said.

Bec began overseeing the renovation of the Mount Buller ski chalet in April this year, with hopes to get it ready in time for the winter ski season.

However Melbourne’s extended lockdown appeared to delay those plans, with Bec only returning to the holiday home last month.

She made a gross discovery in the kitchen’s fridge after months away, revealing it was full of mouldy food that “stinks”.

Bec, who this weekend celebrated her 18-year anniversary with former AFL star Chris Judd, decided to step back from the media spotlight this year.

She walked away from her high-profile gig on KISS FM’s 3pm Pick-Up, saying at the time she wanted to to spend more time at home with her husband and four children: Oscar, Billie and twins Tom and Darcy.

“It’s been one of those years … a Covid year, where we’ve spent so much time at home and as a family we’ve reprioritised what we’re doing.

“This is the first time since Chris finished football, which would have been back in 2015, that we haven’t had any commitments … this year has taught us that we just want to take a step back and not have those weekly commitments,” she said.

“He’s not doing radio anymore, I’m not doing radio anymore, so we’ve got a lot of freedom in our schedule and we’re very lucky to have that.

“I’ve got such a young family, my twins start school not next year but the year after, so I’ve got one year left at home with them and we just want to really make the most of those golden years … they’re slipping away, those golden years.”

Bec’s role hosting Channel 9 travel show Postcards also wrapped up this year.

But despite leaving her lucrative radio gig, Bec has been keeping busy with her activewear label JAGGAD, beauty business Spray Aus and various social media ambassador deals.
