Amelia Gray Hamlin ‘sorry’ for sheer dress at London Fashion Week

A model who turned heads in a completely see-through dress at a London Fashion Week has apologised after the nipple-baring design shocked.

A model who shocked onlookers after stepping out in a completely sheer outfit that exposed her breasts and flaunted her tiny G-string has apologised after the bold look was dubbed “too much”.

Amelia Gray Hamlin wore the “naked” chain mail dress to the Perfect magazine party at London Fashion Week on Sunday and quickly raised eyebrows.

The dress, which exposed her abs and bust, also featured a daring thigh-high slit and exposed her nude G-string.

“Free the nipple I guess,” she joked on her Instagram Stories about her fashion choice.

But the rising runway star later shared a screenshot of her family’s group text in which she apologised to her dad, actor Harry Hamlin, for the daring look.

“Sorry for my nipped [sic] dad it’s fashion,” Amelia wrote.

But while her dad appears to have been shocked by the barely-there outfit, her reality TV star mum Lisa Rinna, didn’t seem too fazed.

“I just saw lol, it’s fashionnnn,” she replied.

The 20-year-old attended the glitzy afterparty event at the famous NoMad restaurant wearing the revealing two-piece and quickly set tongues wagging on social media.

She also shared several photos from the event with her one million Instagram followers, sparking a flurry of comments over how “stunning” she looked.

“We are all in love with you girl,” one wrote.

“This is too much,” another said.

“You’re amazingly beautiful,” someone else quipped.

Amelia finished the look by accessorising with silver strapped heels and bold, bronze make-up.

However others suggested the skimpy ensemble was a bid to capture the attention of her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.

“Tell me you are trying to get your ex back, without telling me you are trying to get your ex back,” one wrote.

“Gorgeous you … but don’t try to make Scott jealous,” another added.

Amelia had opened the Aadnevik show at fashion week before hitting several afterparties.

Before the big event, Amelia shared a photo after touching down in the UK, captioning it: “London. I have arrived.”

To mark arriving from her home in LA she posed for a photo in a skimpy lilac dress that featured daring cut-outs and a dangerously high thigh split.
