Abbie Chatfield has called out a cruel troll who left a vile remark on a recent bikini snap, revealing she doesn’t understand why people are “horrible” online.

The 28-year-old recently shared two photos of herself wearing a green and blue string bikini from Australian swimwear brand Cleonie.

But while the majority of Chatfield’s fans were quick to praise the colourful two-piece, which features a knotted detail at the bust and retails for $220, there were a few trolls who chose to behave inappropriately.

However, in true Chatfield form, the popular influencer and TV host was quick to call out the poor behaviour among her 460,000 followers.

Sharing a screenshot of an uncalled for comment, The Masked Singer Australia panellist took to Instagram Stories to explain she had a wide variety of online critics who “can’t stand me”.

“From dog accounts to roofing specialists, they can’t stand me,” she wrote.

“I don’t get it.”

The offensive remark that prompted Chatfield to speak out had called for the star, who rose to fame as a contestant on The Bachelor in 2019, to stop sharing bikini photos.

“Don’t give up your day job please. This is horrible.”

The shocking comment came from the business account of an Australian tradie, with Chatfield noting she’s also had a range of other professionals leave awful remarks on her images previously.

However, the majority of comments praised Chatfield’s photos, describing the “gifted togs” as “cute” and “stunning”.

“Beautiful colours,” one noted, while one stated: “You look awesome Abbie.”

“Wow beautiful,” another added.

“Big slay,” someone else mused.

Some also stated the star, who also hosts the It’s A Lot podcast, looked “smoking hot” in the photos, which appear to have been taken during a recent beach trip.

“You look so good,” one declared.

“Hot damn,” someone else added.

It’s not the first time Chatfield has shot back at critics, with the FBoy Island host recently calling out a group of people who “slut-shamed” her outfit choice while out to dinner last month.

In a series of posts and videos shared on Instagram while modelling the offending low-cut top, Chatfield addressed “the table of Boomers loudly next to me b*tching about me saying they would be ‘ashamed if their daughter wore that top out.’”

“️Your kids probably would be the ones ashamed if they heard what you were saying!!!,” she wrote.

“Me wearing a hot top doesn’t compare to you spending your night focusing on my tits and making it the main topic of conversation.”

She gave further details of the incident in a post to her Instagram stories, revealing that a man named “John” was the main offender, but she and her friends returned fire.

Chatfield’s Instagram post was flooded with supportive comments from women who applauded her for standing up for herself.

“I’d be more upset if my daughter was this hot and didn’t wear this top out,” joked one person.

“That’s code for ‘this girl is hot asf and I have no idea how to feel about this,’” one person said of the older group’s critiques.
