SOME parents give a little at Christmas, while others give a lot.

But if there is one mum who takes the present-giving cake, it’s Emma Tapping who proudly gifts ALL THE THINGS to her children.

Last year she received widespread disapproval from strangers after posting a photo of her ginormous present pile swamping her Christmas tree.

Emma, from the Isle of Man in the UK, was criticised for apparently spoiling her three kids with 85 presents each - and even accused of abuse!

But Emma wasn’t deterred. This year she has spent even more and is giving her three kids a whopping 96 pressies each.

She posted a new photo to Facebook of her 2016 Christmas pile on November 27 - which means she’s not only generous but incredibly organised!

She captioned the picture: “Another year of hard graft, saving and planning. Another year of my family making me proud every day. They deserve a great Christmas. The haters will hate but nothing and no one will change how I do Christmas .”

Appearing on a new British documentary, Xmas Excess: Parents Splash The Cash, Emma admitted she’s purchased her daughters Mia, 14, and Ella, 10, and toddler son, Tatum, around 96 gifts each compared to last year’s 87 - as well as getting gifts for her partner James, according to news.com.au.

“I do go overboard at Christmas, definitely. It’s loads of pressies, loads of food, stuffing your face and just relaxing,” she says.

She also jokes: “It’s a bit like Jenga — if you pull the wrong one out you might lose a child for a few hours.”

Emma also does Christmas Eve bags every year, and that night Santa adds an extra sack of gifts to the bulging pile under the tree.

Emma’s daughter Ella revealed a popcorn maker and notepad had both remained untouched since last Christmas. And she doesn’t use her tablet she was bought last year after breaking the charger.

HOW SHE DOES IT

Emma admitted she spoiled her kids at Christmas, but didn’t spend much of them for the rest of the year.

“They get their necessities, their school uniforms, the things that they need, but we don’t go on holidays abroad, they don’t go on big shopping sprees — anything they want they get it for Christmas,” she says.

She explained in 2015 that she is “not rich” and seeks advice from money saving experts to budget for her Christmas shopping which can start in January sales, and always looks for bargains.

DIVIDED OPINION

Users commented on Facebook that it was a total waste of money and time to give so many gifts.

“Like the kids will actually want to open that many gifts. I’d be bored after the first three or four,” one user wrote.

Another added : “I actually feel ill looking at that - NOBODY NEEDS MORE STUFF IN THE FIRST WORLD!!”

But many others supported the giving mum saying: “Wow, new u would beat last yr, good on ya, u and your family deserve it”.

“I admire your skills there Emma, how do you do it and the pressies don’t avalanche. Is it Tatun-proof”

In another post to Facebook Emma defended her choice to buy so many gifts.

“Why should parents who graft their arses off be made to feel bad because they buy their kids presents. There’s 365 days in a year to gather some prezzies up. I will NEVER feel bad for giving my kids a good Christmas. LOTS of presents, LOTS of food and drink, LOTS of family time, LOTS of love. If ya don’t like it. Tough sh*t!
