Woman warns people to stay away from popular cosmetic treatment
A woman who had a popular cosmetic treatment overseas has warned others not to do the same after she was left unhappy with the experience.
A woman who had her teeth done in Turkey has shared a video warning others not to make the same mistake.
Keisha-Louise explained that she had been assured by the company that they could “a trillion per cent” straighten her “crooked” teeth.
They then said they could fit her in straight away, which meant that she didn’t have any “breathing time” before booking it in, The Sun reported.
“I was originally going over there for veneers, but someone told me don’t get them because they ping off,” she said in the TikTok video.
“So I went for crowns.”
When she got there, they “got on with it straight away”, and fitted her teeth but they “weren’t straight”.
“I was fuming,” she revealed.
“I said, ‘You told me they’d be straight’ but then they were in denial and they said ‘no we didn’t, no we didn’t!’
“There’s one reason why not to because they just lie.”
Keisha-Louise added that even after “all the money” she paid out for the teeth, they were left chipped and wonky, so is planning to go back to get them fixed.
But she said the company kept “changing dates”, before emailing her an offer for laminate veneers — adding salt in the wound.
“Love, I’ve got my teeth completely shaved down underneath,” she raged.
“Why would I want laminate veneers when I’ve got crowns?
“Do you see what I mean?
“How easily confused they get?!”
And now her “hell” continues as she’s got to pay to fly over to Turkey and stay there while they don’t “even have a bloody clue what they’re doing”.
“Here is the sign,” she concluded.
“Do your research - don’t just pick the first place!”
And the comments section was almost immediately filled with people weighing in, with one writing: “It looks like you have three front teeth?”
“They’ve given you three bunny teeth!” another added.
“Where is your midline? It looks off?” a third said.
As someone else agreed, writing: “I think this every time I watch her . her front two don’t look like front two??”
“Literally, it stresses me out looking at it,” another wrote.
“Did you ever consider getting braces and then composite bonding?” someone else asked.
“That’s what I’ve had - it takes a while, but the results from edge bonding are insane.”
“I’ve had my teeth shaved down now,” Keisha-Louise replied.
“Shaving teeth scares the life out of me,” another person revealed.
As Keisha-Louise concluded: “Wish I never done it to be fair, for the headache I’ve had.”
