WELL, this is refreshing. A new lingerie shoot from American Vogue features five beautiful women of all shapes, sizes and colours.
WELL, this is refreshing.
A new lingerie shoot from American Vogue features five beautiful women of all shapes, sizes and colours modelling the latest underwear looks.
The models — Candice Huffine, Tara Lynn, Inga Eiriksdottir, Marquita Pring, and Ashley Graham- are members of ALDA, a body-positive coalition formed last year by models who were left out of work when the Ford modelling agency shut its ‘plus-size’ division.
The spread features gorgeous bras and underwear by labels such as Secrets in Lace, Lane Bryant, Addition Elle, Agent Provocateur.
The editorial is titled: “Give me a D! Give me an F! Because gorgeous bras come in all shapes and sizes.”
The shoot is a positive step forward for women left disheartened by the Twitter-induced debate last week over so-called ‘plus-size’ model Mya Delbesio.
Photographer Cass Bird summed up our thoughts on these women perfectly when she posted a photo from the shoot with the caption, “My kind of #supermodels.”
