THE new face of Myer has revealed the products she uses to keep her skin glowy AF all year round.
MODEL Elyse Knowles has revealed some of the beauty products she uses.
“I always keep a hydrating mist on me through the day,” Knowles told Who magazine.
She alternates between using an oil and a regular moisturiser ever night and also loves an acid peel.
“Every now and then I’ll do a peel on my face just to get rid of the old skin and promote the new,” she said.
The 25-year-old just signed on as the new face of Myer and is one half of this year’s winning couple on The Block.
Knowles and her partner Josh Barker became the show’s unlikely superstars, winning over viewers with their down-to-earth attitude.
They’ve also become low-key property moguls. The couple sold their winning house on The Block to comedian Dave Hughes for $3.067 million and their own home in Melbourne’s Coburg sold for $1.631 million.
Knowles regularly works as an underwear and swimwear model fronting campaigns for big brands.
She’s previously told news.com.au that she exercises five to six times a week to maintain her figure and is very strict with her diet, avoiding all processed foods, sugar and junk food.
“I am pretty strict about keeping healthy and making sure I’m not eating processed foods and sugars,” Knowles said last year.
During filming on The Block she tried to stick to her healthy regimen.
“I was really lucky to have my mum make food and bring us veggie and lentil soup and healthy quiches with lots of veggies,” Knowles said.
“Having healthy snacks on hand was really key for us, because you’re up at 4am saying, ‘I’m starving, what can I have to eat?’
“There’s a really good smoothie bar down the road and I was there getting green smoothies every morning.
“But you’re tried, you’re stressed, you’re angry. It’s a big whirlwind of emotions. Sometimes you do give in and say, ‘Give me a lolly or a chocolate’.”
Last year she shared her favourite foods and recipes with Body and Soul
“I start with a smoothie in the morning which consists of: banana, vital greens, maca powder, cacao, cinnamon, protein and blueberries, topped with nuts and hemp seeds,” she said.
“Lunch is something very simple like a salad with protein, and dinner is usually fish and veggies.
“My weekly exercise is always different, depending on where I am with work so it’s a bit hard to give you an exact outline. I do gym classes, Pilates and boxing. I mix it up depending on what tickles my fancy. I think it’s important to stay motivated and have fun.”
