The ‘miracle’ body lotion that people swear cures insomnia

A ‘MIRACLE’ body lotion has attracted a cult following due to its wonderful sleepy side-effect.

People swear that the lotion helps them get a good night's sleep.

THERE is a ‘miracle’ body lotion you can buy for a little over $30 in Australia that can be the difference to you starting the day like this:

Or like this:

Lush Cosmetics, the masters of the sweet smelling bath bombs and OTT soap, sell a magic potion that promises sleep-deprived folks a good night’s sleep. It’s called ‘Sleepy’ and the reviews online are nothing short of amazing.

People are clamouring to get their hands on the lotion.

Fans have taken to website Reddit to confirm the lotion really does work.

One user writes: “As someone with incurable and not so common chronic illnesses which result in chronic pain and insomnia because of the pain, sleepy lotion is the one product that can actually help me through the worst of my nights.”

“I have been using my small pot from Christmas sparingly — only when I was really stressed, or really having trouble falling asleep,” another writes.

While Sleepy has attracted a cult following around the world, we can confirm the magic potion is available in Australia — but there is VERY limited stock around.

In fact, Lush revealed to Kidspot that there are less than 10 tubs in some stores around the country, so it’s basically like finding Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket.

But it’s coming back in a big way

The product was released as a limited edition product as part of their Christmas in July collection, but because there are so many sleepy folks here in Australia, they’re bringing it back for good. You just have to wait until mid-September before they hit the shelves again.

While you wait, we’ve been told there are a few products with similar ingredients to the lotion that can also help with sleep.

The Twilight Bath Bomb ($6.95) has the same scent as Sleepy and is designed to help people with a restful night, while the Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb ($4.25) has the kids covered with a calming lavender fragrance to help with bedtime.

Sleepy will be back in Lush stores in mid-September this year and will retail at $32.95 (for 215g) or $59.95 (for 500g).
