MODEL Jesinta Franklin normally has a full glam squad on hand for her red carpet appearances.

But she was forced to do her own hair for an event announcing the AFL’s All Australian team in Melbourne on Wednesday night.

The David Jones ambassador walked the red carpet with her husband and Sydney Swans star Lance “Buddy” Franklin, who was named in the squad.

While she had her makeup professionally done, the 25-year-old said she styled her own hair into a slicked back look.

“Airport delays meant I didn’t have time to get my hair done, so I just got a ton of coconut oil (the only thing we had) & just pushed it through my hair and hoped for the bloody best,” she wrote on Instagram.

Yesterday, she delivered the perfect clapback to an online commenter who criticised a photo she posted from the event

One fan took issue with the particular photo the former Miss Universe Australia posted.

The snap in question showed the model standing with her hands by her side as Buddy wrapped an arm around her waist.

“Looks good but, sorry so sterile looking,” the commenter wrote. “Wrap your arms around your well achieving husband maybe?”

Jesinta was quick to set the record straight and shut down the criticism with a classy response.

“Honey, there was not enough Hollywood tape required for any arm movement I’ll tell you that much for free,” she responded with a series of cry-laughing emojis.

Well said.
