Tess Holliday shares naked photo she knows will annoy people

AFTER being criticised by British personality Piers Morgan for her weight, model Tess Holliday has hit back with a nude Instagram picture that she knows she will be “mocked” for.

TESS Holliday released a naked picture of herself today — at the same time Piers Morgan revealed she’d refused to appear alongside him on the Good Morning Britain television show.

The model, who has been subjected to criticism about her weight by Morgan, told how her mental health had been affected by comments she was setting a bad example to young people by being overweight.

In the caption that accompanied the candid shot the 33-year-old plus-size model wrote: “This month tested my mental health, but here I am, still standing, still grateful, still happy, still a fat cover girl … but I’m also f****** exhausted.

“I know this photo will p*** people off, it will be shared worldwide while being mocked & judged, saying how I’m “negatively affecting” impressionable young minds, & I’m prepared for that.

“My body has always felt like a war zone, but I’ve made peace with that. It’s your minds that need to change.”

She received mixed comments underneath the picture, with many saying she was right to be proud of her body — but others arguing she was a public figure and her size was not healthy.

fruitbat5150 wrote: “You are beautiful and you help me to see that we can all be beautiful, especially when it comes from the inside. Thank you so much for all you do for fat folks, and really, what you do for everyone by promoting body positivity.”

But another person said: “The above picture is not healthy in any way and I am so sick of people saying that we are ‘haters’ for speaking the truth. I don’t hate @tessholliday — I’ve no reason to. I just don’t like how she treats her body.”

Meanwhile Morgan revealed on Twitter she’d refused to go on the show alongside him, writing: “We formally invited her this week. Ms Holliday’s agent came back with one word: ‘No.’”

Tess Holliday came to Piers Morgan’s attention when she appeared on the front cover of Cosmopolitan. Tess, 33, showed off her tattoos as she posed in a green one-piece while blowing a kiss in the striking shot.

But Morgan, 53, wasn’t impressed, sharing the cover on Instagram and writing: “As Britain battles an ever-worsening obesity crisis, this is the new cover of Cosmo. Apparently we’re supposed to view it as a ‘huge step forward for body positivity.’ What a load of old baloney. This cover is just as dangerous & misguided as celebrating size zero models.”

Holliday responded in turn, saying: “To everyone saying I’m a burden to the British health care system, I’m American so you don’t have to worry about my fat a**.”

Then, last week, Tess posed for a mirror selfie on Instagram in her underwear — prompting Morgan to offer his advice again.

He argued she was lying to herself and was on a “on a pathway to sickness, misery and possible death”.

Since then Morgan and Holliday have traded insults — with Piers saying he’s concerned about Tess’ health and her responding he’s obsessed with her.

Yesterday Piers appeared on Good Morning Britain where he offered to go on a diet with her. He said he “deserved” to be fat-shamed because he is a stone overweight. Piers added: “She ain’t losing it right now because people are paying her lots of money to be morbidly obese. I think I’m being kind, you may not think so but I actually think I am.”
