SURE, Aussie model Robyn Lawley can lay claim to being the first ever ‘plus-size’ model to appear in the editorial pages of Sports Illustrated’s iconic ‘swimsuit issue’.
But the modelling world is also taking note of Ashley Graham, 27, who will be in an ad campaign to be published in the same mag.

And while Lawley, 25, is a well-known face Down Under, just who is Ashley Graham?
US model Graham, 26, stars in an advertising campaign for swimwear brand Swimsuits For All, to be published in the mag’s iconic edition, out on February 9.
The gorgeous brunette was discovered at age 12 in a mall and has modelled for Elle, denim brand Levi’s and department store Target, and was previously named plus-size model of the year.
Graham is outspoken on the issue of body image and has been married to a man she met at church since 2010.
While Lawley will appear as one of Sports Illustrated’s rookie faces in 2015, Graham is hopeful she’ll eventually graduate from the ad pages.
“I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone to know that theirs are too. This is no reason to hide and every reason to flaunt. The world is ready for more curves in bikinis,” Graham said.
“I really hope this opens up doors for not just skinny girls with big boobs, but for girls with big hips and thighs.”
