Plants are growing in people’s showers and it’s all down to this Lush ’soap’
USERS of this luxury ‘soap’ have noticed plants growing in their showers afterwards, prompting an interesting reply from the manufacturer.
PLANTS have been springing up in bathrooms thanks to this luxury ‘soap’.
The Wiccy Magic Muscle massage bar, made by Lush, is studded with aduki beans and, like something out of Jack and the Beanstalk, they are magically sprouting in showers and sinks all over the world.
Users of the $14.95 bar have been posting images of strange sproutings in their showers and sinks.
One customer wrote: “One of the coffee beans from my Lush massage bar fell into the sink and a PLANT GREW FROM IT.”
Another posted a picture of a whole row of plants and wrote: “When using a lush bar with beans in it, and you don’t use that shower for a week this is what happens.”
According to representatives at Lush Australia, the bar was never intended to be used as a soap.
“Wiccy Magic Muscle is not intended to be used in the shower, it is massage bar (or solid body lotion) that should be used on dry skin that will melt when applied to the skin and makes a great massage oil, especially for quite tired or achy muscles,” says Lush Australia’s Product and Brand Trainer, Anna Heavens.
“The aduki beans on the top of the massage bar help to add pressure to relieve any stubborn knots. Every now and then we do see our customers using our products in ways that are different to the intended use, and we can often see some pretty interesting results,” she said.
“This story highlights how fresh the ingredients we put into our products truly are.”
