Pippa Middleton’s shows off her awesome guns, two weeks before her wedding
SHE gets married in just two weeks and let’s just say Pippa has not been skipping pump class.
PIPPA Middleton became a household name in 2011, all thanks to her white bridesmaid dress at the wedding of her sister Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
But with her own wedding just two weeks away, the 33-year-old has been stepping up her health and fitness regimen.
She was photographed leaving her London apartment yesterday on her way to a ball — of course — and showed off her toned, muscular arms.
On May 20, she is marrying her fiance James Matthews, 41, a hedge fund manager, at a church located just six miles from Bucklebury, the town south west of London where the Middletons were raised.
Pippa has reportedly been hitting the gym hard and sticking to a strict diet in the lead up to her big day.
She was papped last week leaving the gym, as reports emerged about her intense meal plan, called the Sirtfood diet.
The Sirtfood diet supposedly works by eating certain foods that active the body’s “skinny gene”.
“Certain foods contain chemicals called polyphenols that put mild stress on our cells, turning on genes that mimic the effects of fasting and exercise,” according to the diet’s website.
“A diet rich in sirtfoods kickstarts weight loss without sacrificing muscle, while maintaining optimal health,” it says.
Examples of Sirtfoods include kale, strawberries, red wine, dark chocolate, coffee, olive oil, green tea and buckwheat.
Here’s how it works, according to the website.
“Phrase 1 lasts for seven days. During the first three days, you should have three sirtfood green juices and one full meal rich in sirtfoods — a total of 1,000 calories. On days four to seven, you should increase your calorie intake to 1,500 by having two green juices and two meals daily,” it states.
“Phase 2 is a 14-day maintenance phase intended to help you lose weight steadily. You can eat three balanced sirtfood-rich meals every day, plus one green juice.
“For breakfast, try soy yoghurt with mixed berries, chopped walnuts and dark chocolate, or for something savoury, an omelet packed with bacon, red chicory and parsley.
“The sirtfood salad is great for lunch — but if you’re craving some carbs, a wholemeal pitta stuffed with turkey, cheese or hummus is healthy and filling.
“Dinnertime doesn’t have to be dull, either: stir-friend prawns with kale and buckwheat noodles is a tasty evening meal.”
Most dietitians and nutritionists advise it’s not safe to consume less than 1000 calories a day, even if you’re trying to lose weight.
Eating a well-balanced diet consisting of mostly vegetables and fruits, as well as regular exercise, is the best way to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
