Man shares hilarious post about struggle with tanning his girlfriend

IT’S the bane for every fake tanner — and their partner. The orange palms if you fail to use a mitt. One bloke has had enough.

Dancing With The Stars fake tan fail

THIS IS the definition of “real world” man problems right here. The weekly tan hands.

It’s the inevitable embarrassment of orange palms when a bloke steps up and helps his partner achieve that #freshglow for the week with the help of fake tan.

But a common flaw when it comes to tanning at home is the teriyaki tinted palms when the product isn’t washed off correctly — or in this case, the mitt doesn’t quite fit.

It’s a trap many first time tanners often fall victim to — including one Facebook user who has had enough.

If you don’t use a mitt or wash tan off straight away, you’ll end up with tan hands.

Taking to the Bondi Sands Tanning range Facebook page, Brenton Mohr from Wagga Wagga in NSW has vented his frustration over his weekly conundrum when tanning his girlfriend.

“Dear Bondi Sands,” his post read, which has received more than 14k likes.

“I’m writing to you on behalf of all men with girlfriends, partners/wifes.

“At least once a week I have to tan my partner with “Bondi Sands” and don’t get me wrong your product is amazing, and turns her into a 10.

“But the gloves you supply for your product have one down fall they don’t fit big hands resulting in me getting half a tanned hand for a week.”

“I was just wondering if you guys could send me out some bigger gloves to help me with this problem and maybe throw in a couple of free bottles.”

His post ended with the hashtag givethisguysomegloves — and was met with thousands of responses sympathy.

“Ladies, this guy must b a keeper if he does this for his lady weekly and takes the time to write to the company. Most of them complain about the stained orange sheets and toxic smell after getting the tan,” one person wrote.

According to one Facebook user, the Bondi Sands tanning mitt is too small for men to use.

“Real world man problems,” another added.

“So glad my hubby has small hands.”

“They are gloves for ants,” another user suggested.

“This couldn't be MORE true.”

Bondi Sands, who retail the mitt for $10, describe the device as enabling a “streak-free, flawless tan”.
