WINTER is coming — and with the chill often comes chaos when trying to take care of your skin.

But one Korean brand claims to have the holy grail in face masks — and not because it smells like Summer.

Titled the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask, the pale pink gel already has a waitlist of more than 5000 people.

Created by Christine Chang and Sarah Lee of Korean beauty brand Glow Recipe, the mask claims to leave a dewy and moisturised complexion when slept in overnight.

Containing Sodium Hyaluronate (hylaronic acid), Glycerin (replenishes skin), seaweed, watermelon, Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid to name a few — the mask can also be left on for just 10 minutes if you suffer from sensitive skin.

“The Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask is a luxuriously bouncy, breathable sleeping mask that smooths and perfects skin, overnight,” the website reads.

“This pillow-proof formula acts as a radiance-boosting hybrid hydrator, formulated with soothing, amino-acid rich Watermelon Extract, hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, and pore refining AHAs that work while you sleep to gently exfoliate and clarify.”

The watermelon sleeping mask, which contains Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Fruit, will retail for $60.

The mask will set you back $60.38 AUD plus shipping, and adds to our growing obsession with the Korean beauty trend.

Dubbed K-Beauty — their skincare regimen is the secret behind Korean women’s flawless skin.

The regimen — which typically contains between 10 17 steps, involving cleansers, toners, serums and moisturisers.

“Korean skincare focuses on soothing and nourishing the skin rather than stripping it,” Founder of Australian Korean beauty store Style Story Lauren Mickel told the Daily Telegraph.

“Whereas western skincare often focuses on stripping away layers and exfoliating to reveal new skin, Korean skincare is all about putting nutrients back into the skin and nurturing it.

“As your skin does most of its repairing at night while you sleep, Koreans try to make the most of this by layering more products on at night, right before you sleep.

“Think of the Korean 10-Step routine like a Chanel handbag. It’s an investment — sure — but one that lasts you a lifetime and ultimately pays for itself,” Ms Mickel said.

“Luckily, most Korean cosmetics cost a fraction of the price of western cosmetics, so your investment won’t actually set you back a Chanel handbag.”

The mask is now available to order online.
