ALWAYS running late for work?

Lenita Seker is a Colour Specialist from Mecca Cosmetica, and she knows how to maximise your time in front of the mirror. Here she shows us how to cut your morning makeup routine down using her favourite products in seven simple steps, so you’ll be out the door in no time. Heck, you might even get a little sleep-in ...

Step 1

After your morning skincare routine, click the bottom of the Surreal Skin Foundation Wand to release the foundation into the built in brush, apply this in small buffing motions.

Lenita loves this product as it kills three birds with one stone.

This foundation simplifies your beauty routine by combing a soft-focus primer, with a long-wearing foundation that self-sets — that’s three beauty steps in one.

Step 2

Next use the Ellis Faas concealer, with the included brush under your eyes.

This concealer contains a hydrating combination of antioxidants to de-puff the delicate under eye area, but also has enough coverage to use all over the complexion on any blemishes that pop up.

Step 3

Using the NARS Brow Gel, brush the brows upwards in light feathery strokes until there is enough colour in the brow to define them. If you need to intensify the definition, press the brush into the skin to deposit more colour.

Step 4

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit in Surreal Light really is the palette with it all. Containing a bronzer, blush, highlighting and finishing powder, this marble encased beauty covers all bases.

With the wider end of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Brush, lightly dust the bronzing powder in a 3-shape starting at the temple, working your way underneath the cheekbone and along the jawline. Using the finer end of the brush, gently buff the highlighting powder into the highpoints of the face, around the temple and cheekbone and on your cupid’s bow. Then, choosing your desired shade of blush, softly blend colour into the apples of the cheeks.

Step 5

The By Terry Ombre Blackstar Cream Eyeshadow is another multi-tasking wonder. It contains eyeshadow primer and crushed pearls to create a multidimensional finish on the lid, with only one step.

Using the bullet point of the cream eyeshadow, run the colour along the lash line and blend upwards with your fingers to diffuse the colour and create a soft wash.

Step 6

The Chantecaille Mascara Faux Cils uses a classic bristle which lifts and holds natural curl all day. Zigzag from the root to the ends of the lashes to build up your desired level of volume.

Step 7

To finish the look, apply NARS Velvet Lip Gloss Pencil starting in the centre of the lip and working your way out.
