This one-of-a-kind hair tool is available from the American luxury blowout-booking app Prête.
It’s just a regular old hairdryer bedazzled with hundreds of Swarovski crystals.
While it’s incredibly excessive, the good news is that 100 per cent of the proceeds go directly towards the US animal rights group Humane Society to aid in its fight against animal testing and abuse.
“As if you needed any convincing, you also get a year of unlimited blowouts on us to celebrate your contribution,” Prête’s website states.
The last fancy hairdryer to make headlines was from Dyson.
Dubbed the Tesla of hairdryers, it launched last year after the British firm spent four years overhauling the appliance.
The spent $86 million during the testing process, using more than 1625km of human hair and 600 prototypes.
The Dyson hairdryer costs $699 and has been endorsed by A-list hairstylists such as Jen Atkin, whose clients include the Kardashians, Chrissy Teigen and Bella Hadid.
Dyson founder Sir James Dyson said the company set out to address problems with existing hairdryers and built a state-of-the-art Hair Laboratory in the process.
“Hairdryers can be heavy, inefficient, and make a racket,” he said.
“By looking at them further, we realised that they can also cause extreme damage to hair.
“I challenged Dyson engineers to really understand the science of hair and develop our version of a hairdryer, which we think solves these problems.”
