Botched eyebrow job leads to wild beauty salon brawl

A WOMAN accuses beauty salon staff of botching her eyebrow wax. So she refuses to pay. Video footage of the staff’s response has gone viral.

BEAUTY salon workers in Brooklyn, New York squared off with two customers, using broomsticks, fists and dustpans to pummel the pair after one of them refused to pay for an eyebrow wax that she wasn’t happy with, witnesses and police said.

Video posted on Facebook shows a portion of the knockdown, drag-out brawl at New Red Apple Nails. It was filmed by another customer who was inside during the mayhem.

A staff member is shown beating the woman with what appeared to be a wooden broomstick.

“So I’m at the nail salon and they f***ed up a lady [sic] eyebrow and she refused to pay then a fight broke out,” Mercy Maduka said in the video caption.

“Hitting them like animals,” she said.

Police arrested a salon worker and one of the patrons after the incident, though it’s unclear which one.

A second woman was also beaten with the stick.

Huiyue Zheng, 32, was charged with assault and weapon possession, according to police.

She was later released following a hearing in Brooklyn Criminal Court.

Customer Christina Thomas was booked on misdemeanour assault and other charges. She was also released.

A customer filmed the altercation on her phone.

Maduka’s video has been viewed by more than 670,000 people.
