Beauty Diary: 4 must-have new products from Sephora
A common beauty product has been dubbed the “world’s best” – and judging from the incredible transformations it’s easy to see why.
Watching TikTok videos has fast become one of my favourite past-times – but it’s also expensive.
Nothing makes me whip out my bank card faster than stumbling across a jaw-dropping make-up tutorial – total strangers are honestly causing me to go broke.
However, I don’t mind parting ways with my moolah when something is amazing, and one of my most recent finds is truly that.
After watching a mesmerising viral video about a new mascara that’s so good, some have dubbed it the “best in the world”, I happily kissed goodbye to that fifty bucks.
But while I was in Sephora buying said mascara, I also grabbed a few other goodies I’ve seen trending on the social media platform that are equally as great.
While this means you’re now also saying farewell to your hard earned cash thanks to a bunch of strangers, you won’t regret it. These babies are the bomb.
BENEFIT COSMETICS BAD GAL BANG! MASCARA WATERPROOF

When a mascara is labelled as “reigning supreme” against all others – and trust me, there’s a lot on the market – you stop and pay attention. But while most of the viral videos on TikTok were discussing the OG version, Benefit has just released it in waterproof, so I decided to give it a whirl.
I can’t tell you how impressed I was. The wand is super flexi and covered in bristles that catch even the smallest lash and making application really easy. My lashes were left looking thicker and fuller without looking clumpy in just one coat. It’s so good. Generally I don’t wear much waterproof mascara as it’s difficult to remove, but I’ll make an exception for this. I’ll now also be adding the OG version to my make-up bag for everyday wear.
FENTY BEAUTY POUTSICLE HYDRATING LIP STAIN

This item was another one that also blew up on TikTok and I can totally understand why. There’s no official word on how long the colour lasts, but I wore it on a date recently and when I got home five hours later it looked as good as when it was first applied. I love that as well as longevity, the stain starts off looking wet and glossy, but then settles as a matte on your lips. It also doesn’t budge and comes in four shades that will pop with any skin tone. The product is currently completely sold out in Australia, but you can add yourself to the waitlist to snag one (or all of them) when there’s been a restock.
JVN COMPLETE CONDITIONING MIST BRUME REVITALISANTE

Dry ends is one of my most troublesome haircare woes – but this conditioning mist has really helped, giving my straw-like locks some much needed moisture. I have fine hair so don’t like heavy products, but after using my hair was so silky and smooth and wasn’t weighed down by the product. If you’re put off by the price tag, understandable in the current climate, you can rest easy knowing it goes a long way – you only need a few spritzes to reap the benefits. It’s honestly one of my favourite leave-in conditioners and it smells really lovely too.

Give dull skin an instant dewy glow with this moisturising skin tint. It’s a real whack it on and go product with no fuss, which is why I love it so much – but it also helps protect skin against pollution and blue light damage. The tint is just the right amount of coverage to even skin tone and give a natural finish. I’m obsessed.
