Bangn Body’s new product sold 1 every second same day brand launched in Mecca
A string of influencers caused a new Australian product to sell out in its first day after fans flocked to buy following rave reviews.
A string of Aussie influencers have sent demand for a new Australian item through the roof, causing it to sell out the day it landed in Mecca stores.
Natural Australian skincare brand Bangn Body launched its highly anticipated Illuminating Firming Lotion yesterday, revealing reaction had been “crazy”.
After selling one tube every second at its peak during the launch, it later went on to sell out at Mecca stores.
The product, which had a waitlist of 50,000 before its release, is a new brightening version of the brand’s hugely popular Firming Lotion – a firm favourite among many celebrities and influencers.

Many friends of the brand took to Instagram today to rave about the illuminating product which retails for $56 on the brand’s website and at Mecca stores.
“It gives off a really golden glow and shimmer to the skin but still has all the same beautiful ingredients, it’s vegan friendly and is so good for the skin, former Love Island star Tayla Damir told her 434,000 followers.
She then applied the moisturiser to her arm, face and décolletage and showed her highlighted skin to fans, declaring she was “obsessed” with Bangn Body 2.0.
Former Bachelor contestant Abbie Chatfield also raved about the new product to her 149,000 followers describing the new buy as “stunning” in a video.
Body positive ambassador Karina Irby told her one million followers it “makes your skin look and feel AHHHMAZING” alongside a cheeky snap of her hydrated and shimmering booty.
While former MAFS star and beauty guru Martha Kalifatidis said she was “obsessed” with the item, reassuring followers it gives a great glow without making you look like a “you’d rolled around in glitter”.
The new product launched at the same time as the 14-month-old brand became stocked in Mecca stores across Australia where all four of the brands products have already sold out.
Priscilla Hajiantoni, founder of the all natural skincare brand that have been dubbed online as “yellow tubes of goodness” said its success in such a short space of time had surpassed anything she could have imagined.
“Bangn Body in 14 months has achieved beyond what I could have imagined,” the 27-year-old told news.com.au.
“We are a multimillion-dollar business but it’s not the figures that are my driver, it’s my customer satisfaction.”
Ms Hajiantoni said she had been overwhelmed by the many messages she receives from customers showing off their before and after results and revealed she’s always looking at how she can better her Bangn Body line-up.
“I’m always researching how we can do better constantly, whether that is our packaging, how we can be more sustainable or ingredients we should be using in the clean beauty space.
“I am constantly researching and listening to what our customer wants.”
The skincare brand shot to fame among beauty lovers last year after people with sensitive and irritated skin discovered it helped ease redness and reduce acne. Others have said it helped treat visible cellulite scars.
News.com.au’s The Beauty Diary reviewed it following the online hype, declaring its signature tropical scent a pure delight that leaves you dreaming of your next holiday while nourishing your skin.
