Ashy Bines hits back at online trolls after they attacked her post baby body

BIKINI queen Ashy Bines and singer Ricki-Lee Coulter have both hit back at online trolls atacking them over body and health issues.

BIKINI queen Ashy Bines has launched an online tirade against trolls accusing her of starving herself, after posting photos of her flat stomach just three weeks after giving birth.

Her comments were echoed by fellow Gold Coast celebrity Ricki-Lee Coulter whose weight fluctuations have long been the target of vile abuse.

Bines, 26, has more than 600,000 followers on both Instagram and Facebook and she uses the social media platforms to market her 12-week body transformation program.

The fitness guru and her husband Steven Evans welcomed their son Taj earlier this month, prior to which she had publicly documented her pregnancy progress.

Although most of the hateful comments have since been deleted, Bines revealed it was one snipe in particular which made her sick.

“Ashy this photo of you is promoting unhealthy body images for girls like me and other girls following you because its not realistic,” the user wrote.

Bines responded with a lengthy rant, claiming the trolls had “taken away from a happy moment”.

“Women behind their phones are now accusing me of not eating, not feeding my baby, using weight loss tablets to get back in shape and so many other stupid accusations,” Bines wrote.

“It’s disgusting behaviour from grown women even fellow mums.

“I gained 14.5 kilos in my pregnancy & of course I lost some of that the last three weeks, 8.1 pounds baby, fluid, blood, placenta etc & I haven’t put one bit of unhealthy food in my body since birth.

“It’s ALL natural healthy foods with loads of water, rest and LOVE. I’m also breast feeding but I am eating more than enough and have a healthy milk supply.

“Why can’t it be celebrated when someone has looked after their body & isn’t overweight and unhealthy?”

Meanwhile Coulter, who recently married her manager Richard Harrison in Paris, said she too had fallen victim to body shamers.

“Earlier this week I posted a pic of my make up before heading out to an event and I got the ‘have you lost even more weight?’ ‘Too skinny’ ‘You look sick’ comments,” she said in a Facebook post.

“The funny part is that I just spent 3 months travelling around Europe on my honeymoon and hardly exercised, but ate EVERYTHING I wanted ... and I’m probably about 5 or 6 kilos heavier than usual. So firstly, you’re wrong. And secondly, why do you feel the need to say anything in the first place?

“I’m genuinely concerned about why we have this culture that breeds negativity on social media and I am constantly baffled as to why people feel the need to comment nasty and negative things on another person’s picture on social media.”
