Aldi releases $10 dupe for luxury Dior lip product under new Special Buys
Aldi’s best-selling beauty range is back this weekend as part of the grocery giant’s Special Buys range, with a perfect dupe for an iconic Dior item.
Whenever Aldi includes its Lacura beauty range in the store’s infamous “Special Buys” deals, chaos descends on its aisles.
And this weekend will likely be no different, when a new line of ultra-affordable skincare and beauty buys – including a $10 dupe for one of Dior’s most beloved products – hits the supermarket giant’s shelves.
On Saturday, May 7, a suite of retinol-infused products will join the multi award-winning Lacura family, all retailing for under $9.99.
Formulated with active ingredients including retinol, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide – intended to leave skin smoother and firmer – the line includes a serum, as well as eye and night creams.
“The skincare range includes the following ingredients: retinol is one of the best-known skin care ingredients, hyaluronic acid is also naturally occurring in the human body and niacinamide is one form of vitamin B3,” a description for the products reads.
“The smart selection of ingredients helps to create a plumping skin effect that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, whilst working on the skin’s surface and helps to make the skin smoother and more even.”
And for those wanting to fully rejuvenate their skin as the weather starts to turn, they can enjoy a professional-grade facial at home for just $14.99 with either the Brightening Boost Set (perfect for dry skin) or Active Boost Set (which does the trick for dull skin).
Both boxes include a cleansing cream foam, clarifying lotion, concentrated serum and leave on mask – with users remarking that the boxes left their skin feeling moisturised, hydrated and glowing within days.
But that’s not all: Lacura is renowned for its excellent dupes on luxury items – their “Lacura Caviar” range was previously described by fans as a budget answer to La Prairie’s $575 Skin Caviar Luxe Cream.
Alongside the retinol range are a slew of new Lacura Beauty products, including a $9.99 dupe of Dior’s best-selling Addict Lip Glow, which retails for $57.
