Woman told she looks double her age due to cosmetic treatments

A TikTok user has been left shocked by comments on a video about exactly how old she looks after cosmetic surgery.

A woman was left shocked after a video she posted of herself dancing in the kitchen resulted in a cruel attack on her appearance.

US TikTok user Shawna Faith is no stranger to comments online about her choice to get cosmetic surgery but the latest caused her to respond instead of simply hitting block.

“Respectfully you look like you're pushing 45. Stop getting filler or Botox whatever you have it looks so bad,” the TikTok commenter said.

Others were torn with some agreeing with the original comment and others defending Shawna’s appearance.

“You are absolutely stunning! You look like a healthy 35/37 year old woman,” one social media user commented.

Another said: “She does not look 45. I’m 52, and she looks way younger than I.”

“Girl I think you look so pretty, but I do think the filler does age you some … beautiful regardless,” another said.

One added: “These comments are not it! Babes you’re beautiful!️”

“If you think about skin as an elastic you are stretching your beautiful young skin. definitely your preference but think about the long run,” another said.

Rather than push back at the negative comments, Shawna responded with her own video showing she hadn’t let the criticism get to her. She posted a video saying “get ready with TikTok’s favourite 45-year-old”, and shared the comment that prompted her reaction.

“Forty-five? I get like maybe late 20s, 30s. I’m 22. Yeah, shocker,” she said as she sat in her car and reacted to the comment.

Shawna said when she first started using TikTok she would post videos taking her followers along to her filler and Botox appointments.

She said she would get hate comments similar to the one calling her 45 often.

“There are people on TikTok that hate cosmetic procedures and don’t think you should get them,” she said.

“And again, it’s personal preference. If I want to get filler, I feel like no one should stop me.”

She said people always told her she looks older, and she said she understood it because she did look and act older. Shawna added comments like this would make her cry, and she used to delete the comments and block the accounts.

“Now I just laugh at it because I know it’s not true. But I do respect your opinion.”
