UK woman trolled after getting ‘Turkey teeth’ surgery

A woman who splashed out thousands of dollars on new veneers in Turkey has been cruelly mocked online by trolls.

One woman has revealed that she went abroad with a pal and the pair splashed out on new teeth.

The trend has been dubbed “Turkey teeth” as it becomes increasingly popular for people to travel there and shell out on the dental treatment.

The TikTok hashtag “#TurkeyTeeth” has even reached more than 130 million views, The Sun reported.

Several reality TV influencers and celebrities have also had veneers done, including former Love Island star Jack Fincham and Katie Price.

The procedure of having crowns done can be aggressive and invasive to teeth – as they require almost 70 per cent of your teeth to be filed down.

Holly Williams took to social media to share the journey of her grand makeover, leaving many stunned.

But while Holly Williams loves her new smile, not everyone was as kind – and trolls even went as far to say her new teeth look ‘plastic’ and ‘horsey’.

The young mum explained that she went to Antalya for crowns, as she revealed: “I had composite bonding and they stained so I wanted [crowns] done.”

At the start of the clip, Holly shared a selfie of her ahead of her flight to Turkey, as she wrote: “Come to Turkey to get my teeth done.”

Seconds later, Holly posted a picture of her holding a huge envelope of bank notes.

Holly then headed on her easyJet flight to Turkey and soon after touching down, Holly was in the dental practice, having her money counted.

Following this, Holly shared a clip of her having an injection into her gum, before she and a pal showed off their teeth after they were shaved down.

Once her teeth were shaved, Holly enjoyed some holiday time in Turkey and shared a bikini selfie, followed by a clip of her chilling in the pool.

Moments later, Holly was back in the dentist’s chair and before long, proudly showed off her fresh new pearly whites.

She and her pal smiled for a selfie, thrilled with their fresh smiles.

When asked about the pain, Holly wrote: “It varied throughout the whole procedure. When the numbing wore off once they were shaved it was quite sore then, but bearable.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @holwilliamsx2, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly amassed 406,200 views.

But social media users were divided at Holly’s new smile – while some were impressed, not everyone was as kind.

One person said: “They look amazing.”

Another added: “They look so good.”

A third commented: “Beautiful.”

At the same time, mean trolls were out in full force.

One user wrote: “Worst decision of your life.”

A second chimed in: “This looks hilarious.”

Someone else claimed: “Look so fake omg your teeth were much better before.”

While another TikTok user expressed: “They look so plastic, but they suit you though.

“Should get them shaved down a bit to stop them looking so horsey babes.”
