A US reality TV star has revealed the “painful” reconstructive surgeries she has undergone to try to correct a tummy tuck that she says was “botched”.

Larissa Dos Santos Lima took to Instagram over the weekend to share how an abdominoplasty, known as a tummy tuck, left her without a belly button.

“I would like to take the first step in slowly opening up about a plastic surgery procedure I received that is botched,” she wrote in the initial post.

“Like so many other people in this situation, I’ve been scared and embarrassed to speak out.”

The 35-year-old revealed it had been over a year since it had happened but she was tired of being “silent in my sadness”.

The OnlyFans star had written the caption beside a photo of herself with an IV drip in as she laid in a hospital bed.

A subsequent photo showed three images of Larissa’s belly button in various stages of trauma.

“When I got abdominoplasty, my belly button was removed and disposed without my consent,” Larissa wrote beside the photos.

“I did three very painful revisions to create a belly button. Unfortunately, it was never fixed.”

She went on to say that a friend of her tried other treatments “like fibroblast” to correct it, but that “a belly button isn’t possible to be made”.

Several fans praised Larissa for her courage to come forward.

One social media user said: “Thank you for sharing. I know this is probably super hard for you but I appreciate knowing the truth behind these procedures and I’m sure others do as well.”

Larissa appeared on the US shows 90 Day Fiancé and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.

Originally from Brazil, she appeared on the sixth season of the reality show, where she moved to the US to be with Colt Johnson before they got married and, eventually, divorced in April 2019.

On the show’s spin-off, she went on the show with her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Eric Nichols.
