Trial By Kyle: Former Big Brother contestant Skye Wheatley’s botched Thailand boob job

SKYE thought she was getting a free boob job in Thailand, but the operation created a “bubble” in her right breast that left her devastated.

FORMER Big Brother contestant Skye Wheatley has opened up about her botched breast augmentation on tonight’s premiere of Kyle Sandilands’ hilariously trashy new reality show, Trial By Kyle.

“It’s just like Judge Judy but it’s me instead of Judy,” Sandilands told news.com.au yesterday when asked to describe the program he made for Channel 10’s Pilot Week.

“On Judge Judy they’re always arguing about someone owing someone some money for some meth … but ours are real problems, like boobs jobs, paparazzi fights, friends falling out over loan money. We have different problems but they’re really quite interesting.”

The first “interesting” problem the show addresses is a dispute between Wheatley and an Australian “medical makeover” company, which facilities overseas cosmetic surgery operations.

If you’re unfamiliar with Wheatley, she starred in Big Brother in 2014 and has since racked up almost 450,000 Instagram followers, creating a career for herself as a social media influencer.

She is currently pregnant with her first child and also has a YouTube channel, where she shares vlog-style videos such Aussies Try Pakistan Treats, Mamma’s Night Out and Setting Up Our Spare Room with her 154,000 subscribers.

But perhaps what Wheatley is most famous for is the breast augmentation procedure she had in Thailand in 2015.

“Medi Makeovers had approached me to do a contra deal. So basically I would promote their business in exchange for a boob job,” Wheatley told Sandilands.

“So I flew over to Thailand and had the consultation a day before going in for the procedure and the doctor didn’t really speak too much English and I wasn’t really informed of any possible complications.”

The procedure didn’t go well.

“When I had the bandages taken off I could see a really noticeable double bubble in my right breast and I was in a lot of pain. I was in bed the whole time trying to recover and wear my compression bra,” Wheatley said.

She was not happy with the results and wanted the Medi Makeovers company to explain themselves.

“They’re quite different sizes and that’s what I wanted to correct. Obviously I was insecure about my breasts beforehand, so now it’s just amplified. It’s a lot worst. I had spent nights crying over it and being so upset over it,” she said.

But Dani and Zara — two women who work at Medi Makeovers and have been assigned the unfortunate task of defending the company on this ridiculous program — argued Wheatley breached her contract and did not follow the correct post-surgery instructions.

“The compression bra is to be worn 24/7 for the first two to three months and then a strong sports bra … the breast must be supported for the first 12 months,” Dani said.

Wheatley told Sandilands she is not a fan of this compression bra.

“It’s a really ugly … You cannot wear any outfits with it. It’s actually so ugly it looks like a grandma’s bra,” she said.

Enter The Bachelor’s Anna Heinrich. When she’s not endorsing toothpaste on social media, Heinrich is a criminal lawyer and here she is acting as Sandilands’ legal assistant.

Heinrich popped her Camilla and Marc blazer on to show viewers she is actually a Very Serious Lawyer and not just here to grow her Instagram following.

‘Guys I'm a real lawyer, I promise.’

Heinrich reminded Wheatley that she did not follow the company’s strict post-surgery instructions, which included wearing the compression bra and not performing any chest based exercises.

“Anna has Instagram evidence that will turn this case on its head,” a dramatic voiceover said.

Heinrich then flashed some of Wheatley’s thirst trap Instagram photos onto the courtroom’s evidence screen.

“I do have evidence of Skye not wearing her compression bra. This is Skye walking her dog, which was posted on the first of March 2015, a month or so after surgery,” she said. “And this is Skye planking in the gym on the 28th March 2015.”

When Sandilands asked Wheatley if she remembered receiving an email with these instructions, she replied: “I have a really bad memory.”

“I wanted to chime in here with my legal input,” Heinrich said, revealing that Dani is suing for “breach of contract and defamation” and wants a public apology from Wheatley.

The moment has come for Sandilands to deliver his verdict.

“As sad as this situation is Skye, I feel bad that your procedure did not work out the way you wanted. But really, you have breached the contract … it’s a he said she said on whether you followed the correct procedures afterwards,” Sandilands said.

“I do believe that the company did everything it could and you’ve just had a sh*t go. It’s sh*t luck for you, but you did defame this company. They didn’t do the surgery, they just organised it. They do deserve an apology for them sh*tcanning them.”

Wheatley, bless her, did not apologise. When prompted by Sandilands to offer a response, she said blankly “Yeah sorry, I just zoned out.”

Outside the courtroom, she finally conceded some responsibility.

“I did breach the contract. Yeah they probably could have sued me for doing that.”

The second episode of Trial By Kyle will air at 8.30pm Friday on Channel 10.
