Bargain $20 beauty item hailed ‘timesaving’ hero by fans
“Lazy” make-up fans are raving about this bargain product that saves precious time in the morning for more beauty sleep.
Who doesn’t want to save time in the morning?
If you’re one of those people who savour every last minute in bed like me, then you live for timesaving ideas — especially in your beauty routine.
Well, time-poor people can rejoice as social media is ablaze with a “genius” product that’s wowing make-up fans.
Best of all, the miracle item can be snapped up in chemists for just $20.
This impressive new item is Revlon’s PhotoReady Instant Cheek Maker, a highlighter and blush duo that’s taking the internet by storm.
On social media, fans of the make-up item rave about its easy to use qualities, branding it a “miracle” for busy mornings.
“This is fabulous for me as I’m lazy,” one happy fan wrote on Facebook.
Another said: “This is literally a timesaving item. I’m obsessed.”
“Used this for the first time today and LOVE it. Application is fast, very easy to blend out. “Where has this been all my life?” another raved.
Another added: “This is completely life changing.”
Being a massive fan of sleep and never getting enough of it, I decided to give this new cult-item a whirl.
From first impression I was impressed. Its “unique” design — an ergonomically-moulded stick that fits perfectly on either side of your cheekbone — helps you apply the product easily. One side features a creamy, shimmery highlighter, while the other has a perfectly-matched blush.
The smooth formula literally glides on easier than a Tinder swipe — and can be blended in using your fingers.
I’m not one to wear a lot of make-up, especially as I get up for work at 5.30am — but this gave me a perky glow that would usually take me two coffees to achieve.
It also didn’t budge in the slightest, staying put through my gruelling CrossFit workout in the evening. Talk about impressive.
But the best part was definitely the price tag. This gem retails at a bargain price of just $26.95, though I picked mine up in Chemist Warehouse for just $20.
The only catch I could find was that at the moment there are just two different shades — rose quartz and bordeaux glow — that may not work for all skin tones.
So, I’m hoping there are plans to extend the shades to make this accessible for all.
It’s not the only new item in the make-up giant’s PhotoReady range, which — as the name suggests — is aimed at giving you an Insta-worthy finish when you don’t have your own #glamsquad to hand.
Their Candid foundation and concealer is proving popular among beauty fans who are praising the budget item for its high-end qualities.
It is an awesome foundation! I bought 3 backups.

Revlon has produced 16 colour variants of this foundation, which offers “natural” coverage that protects you from blue light and pollution damage but without any nasty ingredients.
This too is a steal at just $20. No wonder people are losing it.
