Republican convention live: Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump speeches
Most of Donald Trump's speeches spark enthusiastic support from one side and anger from the other. Today's was a little different.
US President Donald Trump has warned that "no one will be safe" in America if his opponent, Joe Biden, wins the election in November.
Mr Trump delivered his Republican convention speech from the White House's South Lawn today. It was, perhaps, the single best chance he would get to win over voters before the election.
The President spent 70 minutes laying out the accomplishments of his first term in office and attacking Mr Biden, labelling him a "Trojan Horse for socialism".
"At no time before have voters faced a clearer choice between two parties, two visions, two philosophies, or two agendas," Mr Trump said.
"This election will decide whether we save the American dream, or whether we allow a socialist agenda to demolish our cherished destiny.
"Your vote will decide whether we protect law-abiding Americans or whether we give free reign to violent anarchists and agitators and criminals who threaten our citizens.
"And this election will decide whether we will defend the American way of life, or whether we will allow a radical movement to completely dismantle and destroy it."
The reaction to his speech was a little surprising. Usually, the President provokes anger from his critics. This time, most of them just seemed to be a bit bored.
Read on for more details on that reaction, and for all the other highlights from the Republican convention's final day.
