Putin sick with cancer, has three years to live, says Russian spy

Vladimir Putin has been given two to three years to live by doctors as he battles cancer, according to a Russian intelligence officer.

Vladimir Putin sick with cancer “has three years to live”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has “rapidly progressing cancer”, is losing his sight and has been given three years to live by doctors, according to a Russian intelligence officer.

An FSB (Russian Federal Security Service) officer said Mr Putin, 69, was very ill with “a severe form of rapidly progressing cancer”.

“He has no more than two to three years to stay alive,” the source said, as reported by the Mirror.

“We are told he is suffering from headaches and when he appears on TV he needs pieces of paper with everything written in huge letters to read what he’s going to say.

“They are so big each page can only hold a couple of sentences. His eyesight is seriously worsening,” the FSB agent said.

“And his limbs are now also shaking uncontrollably.”

The report adds fuel to rumours which have been circulating throughout the Russian invasion of Ukraine that the Russian leader is very sick, with some reports suggesting he has cancer and others suggesting Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis.

Last week, those rumours seemed to be backed up with vision of Mr Putin grimacing and twitching his way through a meeting with his close ally Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

The pair met for talks in the Black Sea city of Sochi, as Mr Putin’s invasion of Ukraine continues, but their discussions were overshadowed by the sight of the struggling Russian leader.

Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov told Ukrayinka Pravda he could “fully confirm” Mr Putin was in failing health.

“He has several serious illnesses, one of which is cancer,” Mr Budanov said.

“But it is not worth hoping that Putin will die tomorrow. He has at least a few more years. Like it or not, but it’s true.”

The most recent reports that the Russian President has no more than three years left to live reportedly came via a spy in Russia to an FSB defector living in Britain.

The defector was told Mr Putin has to squint at even the huge lettering he is given and is terrifying staff with abrupt mood changes.

“He won’t wear glasses to help because that would be a sign of weakness,” the message from the spy in Russia read.

“He used to be composed with subordinates but now he has outbursts of uncontrolled fury. He has gone completely nuts and trusts almost no one.”

Intelligence world backs up ill health rumours

Earlier this month, former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, in an interview with LBC Radio in London, said Mr Putin had been interrupting meetings to receive “some kind of medical treatment”.

“Meetings of the Security Council that are shown to supposedly last for a whole hour are actually broken up into several sections,” Mr Steele said. “[Mr Putin] goes out and receives some kind of medical treatment between those sections.”

He added: “He’s constantly accompanied around the place by a team of doctors.

“The Kremlin is a bit like a shark pool. They all swim round and if they smell blood in the water they start fighting.”

Meanwhile, former head of the British Secret Intelligence Service Sir Richard Dearlove, predicted Mr Putin would be deposed as leader due to his medical issues.

“I think he’ll be gone by 2023, but probably into the sanatorium,” he told One Decision podcast. He said Mr Putin would not remain the “leader of Russia” after coming out of the medical facility.

“That’s a way to sort of move things on without a coup,” he said.
