Jeff Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sánchez stuns in scarlet gown after ‘hooker’ jibe

Lauren Sánchez, 54, has unveiled another revealing gown after facing criticism over her choice of outfits to celebrate Jeff Bezos’ 60th birthday.

Lauren Sánchez, 54, decided to trade her new goth aesthetic for something a bit more colourful while celebrating her fiance, Jeff Bezos.

Sharing a few photos to Instagram, the former news reporter gave followers a look into her getting ready process ahead of the Amazon founder’s 60th birthday, reports Pagesix.

In all three pictures, Sánchez could be seen posing in a sparkling, low-cut red dress, which included a few cutouts under the bust.

“Getting ready is sometimes the best part of the night,” the helicopter pilot captioned her post.

She then gave a shout out to the designer behind the fiery gown, Laura Basci, thanking her for “creating this incredible dress for such a special evening.”

And it was an incredible dress, indeed; the embellished piece required over 800 hours of beadwork during the design process, according to a press release from the brand.

And she kept the sparkle going with a very symbolic crystal-covered rocket ship purse from Judith Leiber ($7463), a reference to Bezos’ Blue Origin aerospace company.

Of course, the billionaire first focused his attention to the sky in 2021, when he took a quick 10-minute trip to space with younger brother Mark and has since launched six total flights.

For her part, Sánchez told the Wall Street Journal in 2023 that she plans to lead an all-woman space flight mission sometime this year.

Naturally, Sánchez and her team decided to let the sparkling gown and accessory steal the spotlight, opting to keep the rest of her look somewhat simple. She wore her hair down in voluminous waves and went with neutral makeup for the night, making things complete with a light pink lip.

Of course, the 54 year old is no stranger to making a statement her outfits. She was honoured at the 21st Annual Living Legends of Aviation awards over the weekend, wearing a glamorous strapless black gown, which she paired with elbow-length black gloves.

And she made headlines with a provocative see-through outfit to celebrate Bezos’ birthday that saw conservative commentator Megyn Kelly declare “she looks like a hooker”.

She celebrated her own birthday in St. Barts last month, wearing another red-hot cutout dress on Bezos’ yacht and dancing on the tables at a famous restaurant with friends.

The couple recently returned from Milan, where they watched Sánchez’ son Nikko Gonzalez make his runway debut at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show — and the mum of three turned heads with a duo of sheer dresses from the designer.
