Wild footage has emerged of a brawl between tradies on an Australian building site, with some resorting to using their hard hats as weapons.
The video posted to the Only in Guildford Facebook page shows workers in hi-vis gear exchanging blows in a pack of about 10 people rolling through an unfinished development.
One man charges into the brawl and swings his helmet at two different people, connecting with their heads and emitting a clear thud sound.
That same man appears to pull an object from his pants after being separated from the group.
Another armed himself with a shovel as men in orange shirts hold back another man wearing a fluoro yellow top.
The video went viral gaining 13,000 views and a host of comments making light of the incident.
One likened the fight to an alleged brawl between security and racegoers in Canberra last month: “Are they the summernats security guards”.
“What the hell was this all about? The heat got to them or was it a liquid lunch?,” one man commented.
“Bloke at the bottom brought a shovel to a hard hat fight,” another said.
