A man is lucky to be alive after becoming trapped in a grain silo in Queensland’s Central Highlands.

Police said the grain had already been removed from the silo, but the man remained stuck under the roof.

A spokesperson for Queensland Ambulance said the man had been removed from the silo and airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition and is being treated for “serious leg injuries”.

Last year, another Queensland farmer survived falling into a silo, where he was trapped up to his neck in grain.
