AS EVERY office worker knows, making facial expressions all day long is exhausting. Luckily for these employees in China, they’ve been given a day off to go “faceless”.

The Associated Press reports staff at a property service company in Northern China’s Handan province wore masks on Tuesday so they didn’t have to fake their facial expression throughout the day.

Woffice, which specialises in leased office space, holds a monthly ”relaxation day” using different themes, with the “faceless” day the latest iteration.

Some were pictured wearing Guy Fawkes masks, popularised by the Anonymous movement and the film V for Vendetta, while others wore masks depicting the “No Face” character from the 2001 animated film Spirited Away.

Most workers chose to go with the “No Face” mask to relax their smiling muscles and remain anonymous in front of customers, Yahoo News reported.
