Is this Australia’s luckiest lotto outlet?

CARLO Addamo’s little outlet has sold a staggering 31 first-prize lotto tickets, and on Saturday, he did it again.

ANOTHER draw, another big win for this little lotto shop in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

Target Lotto in Hoppers Crossing was one of five Victorian stores to sell a winning ticket in TattsLotto’s $30 million “megadraw” on Saturday night.

But the $2 million prize — won by an unknown ticketholder — is 40 just the latest in a string of windfalls.

The Old Geelong Rd agency has delivered six Division 1 winners in 20 months, for a total of more than $7 million, the Wyndham Leader reports.

According to owner Carlo Addamo, his store has sold 31 first-prize tickets in two decades.

“It’s unbelievable,” Mr Addamo said.

“We’re definitely regarded as the lucky shop around here. I get just as excited as the winner — except without the money.”

Previous highlights include a $9 million Powerball jackpot in 2008, and two unrelated Division 1-winning tickets in the same draw in 2014.

Tatts spokeswoman Elissa Lewis did not have figures for the success of individual agencies but said Hoppers Crossing regularly produced winners.

“We often see that postcode coming up,” she said.

Fifteen ticketholders willshare the weekend’s first-division $30 million prize.

An even bigger prize is on offer on Thursday, with a $70 million Powerball jackpot.
