Where Michael Jackson’s children Prince, Paris and Bigi live now
Michael Jackson is the highest-earning dead celebrity on the planet but it is his kids who are reaping the rewards of an estate dragging in millions of dollars every year.
Michael Jackson was over $US500 million ($A768 million) in debt at the time of his death in 2009.
Since his untimely passing, the singer’s wealth has amassed to a staggering $US2 billion ($A3.07 billion), thanks to merchandising, music royalties, and “MJ: The Musical,” a stage adaptation of his life.
According to Parade, Jackson is the highest-earning dead celebrity on the planet.
The pop star’s will stipulated 40 per cent of his estate went to his mother, Katherine Jackson, while 20 per cent went to charity.
The remaining 40 per cent was divided among his three children Prince, Paris, and Bigi. They each receive annual allowances of around $US8 million ($A12.5 million).
Last year, Jackson kids’ fortune skyrocketed when Sony Music Group paid $US600 million ($A920 million) for half of their father’s music catalogue. The deal was the biggest ever for the work of a single musician.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Prince, Paris and Bigi are worth $US150 million ($A228 million) each.

Michael Joseph “Prince” Jackson Jr.
The “Thriller” hit maker had his first child on February 13, 1997 with his second wife, Debbie Rowe.
Named Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, he was called Prince after the singer’s grandfather, Prince Albert Scruse.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Prince initially pursued a career in the entertainment industry.
In 2013, Prince landed a gig as a guest correspondent on “Entertainment Tonight”. Later that year, he made his acting debut with a cameo in “90210”.
His stint in the spotlight came to an end. In an interview with “Today”, Prince admitted showbiz wasn’t for him, saying: “I didn’t get that gene”.
In 2019, Prince graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
While studying at university, Prince co-founded the charity Heal Los Angeles with a friend.
Heal aims to combat child hunger, homelessness and abuse. The organisation has numerous high-profile ambassadors, including Prince’s aunt LaToya Jackson.
According to US Weekly, Jackson’s firstborn “loves riding motorcycles and his charity work”.
Insiders told the Daily Mail “Prince is pretty much living life like a rich LA trust fund kid – but is not one of those obnoxious LA 20-something guys who act like their money buys them anything”.
Prince and his siblings grew up at Neverland Ranch. After their father’s death, the kids went to live with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson.
Their cousin, TJ Jackson, later took over as guardian of the children amid a family financial dispute.
Prince now lives in a luxe pad in the Rancho Palos Verdes area of California. According to Variety, MJ’s eldest son dropped a cool $US2.2 million ($A3.3 million) on the property.
He’s been dating college sweetheart Molly Schirmang for over seven years.
Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson
Paris was born a year after her older brother on April 3, 1998 to Debbie Rowe.
Born Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, she later became a model, singer and actress.
Her biggest film roles came in the 2018 action film, “Gringo” and the 2021 comedy “The Space Between”. She has also appeared in “American Horror Story” and Hulu’s teen comedy “Sex Appeal”.
The 27-year-old also has a contract with IMG Models and is the current face of vegan make-up brand, KVD Beauty.
She was on People Magazine’s Most Beautiful list, has featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and been a regular in Vogue across the globe.
A source told Us Weekly that Paris has worked as a model, an actress and a singer because she “wanted to make a living and not depend on [her father’s] money”.
The media personality has followed in her dad’s musical footsteps by being a member of several bands.
In 2020, Paris debuted her critically acclaimed album, Wilted, and in 2023 she released a single called Bandaid. She also hopes to release a full-length album in the near future.
“I have enough [songs] that are already recorded and ready to go that would make an album,” she revealed.
“In terms of how many [songs] I have written, I don’t even know how many I have. Dozens, maybe.”
After her father’s death, Paris went through several very public struggles.
The actress told Rolling Stone in 2015 she attempted suicide “multiples times” before the age of 15. She was hospitalised again that same year and sought treatment in 2019.
Earlier this year, Paris celebrated five years of sobriety from alcohol and heroin.
As for her love life, Paris announced her engagement to music producer Justin Long last year.
The glamour girl has snapped up some impressive properties. In 2017, she bought a Topanga Canyon home for around $US2 million ($A3.06 million).
Paris was said to have moved into a “hippie” mansion in the mountains above Los Angeles with a group of pals, according to The Sun.
Her housemates included Prudence Brando, whose grandfather was movie legend Marlon Brando.
The seven-bedroom property featured stunning views across the Santa Monica Mountains. The estate was sold five years later for $US2.3 million ($A3.5 million).
Paris then upgraded to a more private $US3.8 million ($A5.8 million) Hollywood Hills estate.
The mansion boasts a swimming pool, movie theatre, art studio and a two-way stone fireplace.
The property has a long history of celebrity owners having previously belonged to Rock Hudson, Canadian singer K.D. Lang and Maroon 5 keyboardist Jesse Carmichae.
Prince “Bigi” Michael Jackson II
Michael’s third and youngest child was born via a gestational carrier in February 2002.
He is most commonly known as Blanket and started going by the name Bigi in 2015.
A source told Us Weekly “Bigi is the most private of the siblings”.
“He lives on his own and doesn’t have to work but has hobbies,” the source said.
In 2020, Jackson’s youngest son reportedly snapped up a $US2.6 million ($A3.9 million) house in California days after turning 18.
The Calabasas home is located in one of the area’s many gated communities, which is patrolled by guards 24/7.
His six-bedroom estate has 7.5 bathrooms, a family room with a wet bar, three fireplaces and a small gym area.
