Two sales in the same Wentworth Point unit block brings a lot of coincidence
Two inner west apartments in the same building have amazingly sold on the same day for the exact same price.
Wentworth Point has recorded what might be the biggest coincidence in Sydney’s property market this year.
Two apartments on the third floor of the Torino Building at 4 Stromboli Strait have sold on the exact same day for the same price.
Owned by two different people, No. 307 and No. 311 were both snapped up and sold for $645,000 each.

In another twist, both of the apartments were sold by Ray White — Wentworth Point’s Jeremy Deviesseux.
Ray White — Wentworth Point managing director Rebecca Deviesseux said both two-bedroom apartments were listed at the same time.
“Both also had an identical floorplan, which is not too uncommon in an apartment block,” she said.
Ms Deviesseux said a local young couple purchased one of the apartments, while the second was secured by an out-of-area buyer.
“The only difference between the two was that one was tenanted and the other was not,” she said.
Over the course of the campaign there was a mixed group of interested buyers from locals and those coming from the west, however Ms Deviesseux said she was surprised there wasn’t really a crossover between both.
“It was interesting as a lot of buyers were only interested in one and not the other, and it was for little things like ‘I only turn left at the lift’,” she said.
The apartments will provide the new owners membership to Pulse Lifestyle Gym offering gymnasium, steam room, indoor lap pool, outdoor beach pool and tennis courts.
The building is also within walking distance of buses to Rhodes station and Shipwreck Lookout.
