Losing NSW State of Origin coach Brad Fittler’s $10m hideout
Brad Fittler might be on the cusp of coaching his final State of Origin game but he can seek solace in his luxury property as big as 200 footy fields, he’s still settling into.
Brad Fittler might be coaching his last State of Origin series after NSW’s 32-6 capitulation to Queensland in Brisbane on Wednesday, but at least he has a cracking joint to hide out in from all the drama.
And to watch next year’s series, if he does get the axe as NSW coach.
Fittler unofficially holds the title of the NRL’s best home, after he snapped up a lavish estate on Sydney’s Northern Beaches in February last year, that boasts among other things its very own lagoon.

The Roosters premiership winner snapped up Harvey Estate, the former home of art dealer Trevor Harvey who is best known for being the only licensed dealer of Dr Seuss cartoons in Australia after selling his nearby home for $12m.
Fittler and his wife Marie paid $8.225 million for the incredible two-storey, six bedroom home which sits on 2.2 hectares (that’s around 200 football fields) and has been widely used as a venue for events and weddings.
Given the rise in prestige home prices over the last 16 months the home would likely command a price tag of $10m+ were it to hit the market today.

While Fittler is not on his own in the rugby league ranks in owning an epic pad, his home of a little over a year is arguably the most envy-inducing in the game.
And it is very much an elite sportsman’s dream home, including the top shelf home gym the footy legend known as “Freddie” enjoys.
“Set on five acres this landscaped haven of artistic discoveries includes a myriad of unique outdoor sculpture viewing locations, each harmoniously designed to complement the landscape,” read the marketing blurb for the home when it was last on the market.
“Boasting distinctive luxury accommodation Harvey House Gallery & Sculpture Park has been built to absolute perfection.

“More than a gallery, this is a home with the highest level of warmth and playfulness at heart.
“Soaring over two impeccably crafted levels with sweeping bushland views its romantic backdrop is designed to provide a glamorous gala entertaining venue and private family resort-like lifestyle retreat with every conceivable luxury. The magnesium swimming pool lined sumptuously with spanish glass tiles is more like a swimming oasis with direct access to a luxurious bathroom and sauna.
“Situated on over 20,234 sqm of rolling lawns which feature a spectacular 600,000L lagoon and cascading waterfall with romantic bridge way, floodlit paths, tropical gardens and wooden decks with resident duck family lazing by the edges.
“The horse stables have been re-purposed into fully functioning studio for arts and crafts. Additional features include a remote controlled 3 car lock-up garage with internal access plus plenty of secure parking for guests.”
So, if the worst happens for Fittler and he’s dumped as Blues coach, at least he has the ideal joint to kick back in and watch next series from.
