Sunrise newsreader Natalie Barr scores big property payday
Sunrise newsreader Natalie Barr has many reasons to celebrate now that settlement of her former Mosman home is complete, as it’s been revealed just how big her property payday is.
Popular Sunrise newsreader Natalie Barr and her family have moved out of their Mosman abode, after the new owners took settlement of the four-bedroom Federation home.
And it’s been revealed that Barr and her husband Andrew Thompson sold the property for $3.6 million.
This pegs the sale price right in the middle of $3.5 million-$3.8 million guide that Ray White Lower North Shore’s Geoff Smith and Richard Harding were advertising.
According to CoreLogic, settlement took place on January 22.

Buyers pay $100k for absolutely nothing
You won’t believe what’s behind these doors?
This follows the 717sqm property selling prior to auction on December 5, in what appeared to be a last-minute decision to sell the home at the end of the spring selling season.
The result is also a moderate gain for the couple, who bought it nearly three years ago for $3.235 million.
The Network Seven star isn’t the only breakfast TV star to make a move on the local market. Last month Today’s Georgie Gardner finally moved into her six-bedroom Beauty Point home after paying $6 million for it in October.
While Gardner has moved into Mosman, it remains unclear what Barr’s property plans are, with reports suggesting she might be eyeing a move to the eastern suburbs.
The single-level Federation home has landscaped gardens and combines restored original details with modern updates.
With an open-plan design at the rear, the family room and kitchen overlook the wraparound entertainer’s deck and level lawn. There is also a two-car garage at the front.
