REA Group has awarded Gavin Rubinstein for excellence in customer service

REA Group has awarded Ray White Double Bay’s Gavin Rubinstein for excellence in customer service.

GAVIN Rubinstein, who started as a personal assistant and entered the real estate game at the age of 20, has won a national award for excellence in customer service.

The Ray White Double Bay agent won the award at the Annual REA Excellence Awards (AREAs), hosted by REA Group, the parent company of realestate.com.au.

Well on his way to exceeding $250 million worth of sales over the past 12 months alone, Mr Rubinstein said fastidious communication, quick response time and transparency are the key to forming strong relationships with his clients.

“I never sugar coat the situation and always tell my clients what they need to hear, rather than what they want to hear,” he said.

“Even before the agency agreement is signed, I make myself available to my clients around the clock. My mornings start at 5am and my evenings go late into the night so I am always on the task at hand and my clients know this about me should they need to make contact.”

His “stay-in-touch program” is all about brining meet-and-greets into the modern age.

“I have found technology, media and social media is a great way to stay in touch on a mass scale, it’s guerilla marketing,” Mr Rubinstein said.

“I engage with most of my clients through Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram and constantly am active on these platforms.”

He said what sets him apart from other agents all comes down to hard work.

“Work ethic and discipline around what is required to be done daily to succeed in this business. I simply outwork the competition. It is very hard to beat someone who doesn’t give up.”

The Double Bay agency was also awarded the New Home Marketing Campaign of the Year Award in the developer category which went to director Craig Pontey for the sale of The Gordon in Paddington and whose campaign resulted in 19 apartments being sold in 19 minutes.
