Rare vacant block of land in Enfield hits the market
A vacant block of land in the inner west held for over 100 years has come onto the market, providing buyers with a rare opportunity to build in a prime location.
A vacant block of land that has been held by the same family since 1913 has hit the market, giving buyers in the inner west a rare opportunity to build their dream home.
The block at 18 Mina Rosa St in Enfield was originally bought by the owner’s grandfather more than 100 years ago, as well as the block next door.

The family built a home on one, while the other remained vacant. In 1975 they put a fence in between and eventually sold their original home, with the land sitting there unoccupied since.
The current owner is selling as part of a deceased estate and with over 330sqm on offer, listing agent Tony Licastro of Elders Inner West has already been inundated with inquiries.
“Something like this is as rare as hen’s teeth,” he said. “There is motivation there to sell but it is hard to put a price on it.”
Mr Licastro said he believes the land has never had a property built on it, making it an even more unique find in this part of Sydney.
The land is in a great location close to Henley Park and has two frontages.
It goes to auction on Saturday, June 22 at 3pm.
