Niagara Park land for sale a natural wonderland with quirky history
This block of land listed on the Central Coast was once owned by a remarkable man who lived without plumbing and bathed in an iron tub, heated with a cattle prong.
A block of land for sale in Niagara Park was once home to a remarkable owner.
The 2.2ha property at 61 Glen Rd includes a studio with no plumbing that was lived in by a man for over four decades.
Accessible via wrought iron gates and a tree-lined driveway, the parcel offers cleared but mostly natural bushland and an array of mature trees, fruit orchard, secret pathways, and a spring fed dam.

“The owner built the dam from hand and it’s about three or four adults deep,” agent Peter Morris from McGrath Gosford said.
“The property used to be a big citrus orchard that was family-owned for over a hundred years. The son bought this block from them when it was subdivided.”
According to Mr Morris, the off-the-grid owner used to bathe in an iron bath with dam water heated by a cattle prong.
Now there is a chance for a new person to enjoy this ruggedly beautiful piece of land.
With a smaller portion of land already cleared and a scenic backdrop onto private bushland, this is the sort of setting that will appeal to adventurous types.

Gently sloping entry to land provides an ideal building envelope (STCA), or buyers could also maximise the potential of the partially renovated studio, which includes new electrical.
No. 61 Glen Rd will go to auction on Saturday, 29 June at 2.15pm and has a bidding guide of $900,000.
