Sold by Stephen Gittoes and Ingrid Osborn from Gittoes East Gosford, the magnificent home spanned two levels offering formal and informal living and dining areas with 20ft high ceilings on the lower level, Travertine tiled floors and French colonial doors.
Set on 15 hectares, Ms Osborn said that the vendors wanted to find a buyer who would keep the property in its current condition.
“The owners wanted someone to take on the animals — some horses and geese,” she said.
“They added so much to the property — verandas, a Tuscan turret, stabling and an English oak tree plantation with truffles that are coming through just now. The pool was built by Pools of Distinction and was the biggest one they’ve ever done.”
Ms Osborn said that offers varied by over $1.5 million.
